I monitor the distribution of inbound links daily. We can not have uniform footer signature since it will over optimised our site with single keywords which invite Google penalty.
Our practice in footer should be
a. Variation of footer link to make it normal to Google’ webmaster
1. Brand link – Company Name
2. Keyword link – Web Design
3. Domain link – www.companyname.com
4. Relevant keyword link – App design, ecommerce design etc.
5. None keyword link – here,link,visit us
6. Image link –
b. use nofollow tag for young and no authority website
c. use the variation of keywords if the site is huge, high authority and potential.
Note: we have excess link with keyword term sushi digital that we need to reduce.
Please leave the footer signature at east since it is part of the variation of keyword link.
